You will need to install Lockdown Browser for the exams. Please do this now so that we don’t run into any problems later. Once completed, please do “Practice Exam - Requires Respondus LockDown Browser” on canvas to make sure that you have Lockdown Browser set up properly. The practice exam is located under the “Quizzes” section. The point of this exam is to get you comfortable with the exam format.

Here are some instructions from the Northwestern remote testing guide:

1. Download and install the Lockdown Browser to your computer or device.
2. Refer to the student Lockdown Browser quick start guide.

Please note that we will NOT be using Lockdown “Monitor” (which utilizes your webcam). We will simply be using the Lockdown browser - prevents you from using other applications on your computer while taking the exam.
